We also offer photocopying services and binding for dissertations and other documents.

As well as the usual core library services, we also offer departments an Embedded Librarian Service. Find out about our Embedded Librarian Service by clicking on the link above.

Finding Books

The Library staff are happy to help you find the books you need. You can also find items by using the OPAC (Open Access Catalogue) pc which is permanentely logged into our catalogue and situated at the end of the second book stack, or, outside of the Library, you can visit the ELMS website to search all stock belonging to healthcare Libraries in the East of England.

You can borrow up to six books for four weeks at a time. You may renew your books as frequently as required, provided another library user has not placed a reserve on the item. For out of hours borrowing please use our the green slips on the Library desk. You will need your name/username and the barcode from inside the book, which will look something like this T12345. You are responsible for your book loans. If a book is lost or damaged, please let us know so you can pay for a replacement. If that is going to cause difficulties, please ask to speak to the Trust Librarian. Books must not be transferred from one borrower to another.

Books already on loan may be reserved. They will normally be held for the reader for two weeks after which they will be returned to the shelf.

When books are returned they should either be put in the book return box or given to library staff to be discharged. Book return boxes are located outside the Library and in the Time Out restaurant
